Kelp forests have always been so…….alluring to me. I used to watch videos of orcas darting in between the stretches of green; I fell in love.

Esther the Wonder Pig’s foot
Did you know that at the bottom of their hoofs, pigs have soft pads just like dogs? I was stroking Esther’s leg and was surprised at how beautifully tender it was just like my dog’s paws.Did you know that Esther the Wonder Pig and other pigs at farm sanctuaries are so clean and smell like maple syrup (!!!) — the way dogs smell like corn chips? And that when you look in Esther the Wonder pig’s eyes, you see so much happiness and delight as a result of her being in a loving home and loved by everyone? The tragedy of the pigs we see in the transport trucks becomes all the more stark: their hoofs are on filthy floors; they smell sickly and horrid coming from cramped and filthy warehouses; and their eyes are filled with terror, fear, confusion and worry. We need to tell both stories: the stories of the Esther’s of the world and of the 99.9999999999999% of the pig victims being wrongly exploited for slaughter.
Please choose veganism for Esther, and for the millions of pigs who were not as lucky.
